Disable shift lever lock
Looking for a way to disable the automatic shift lever lock which engages (sometimes-haven't figured out the pattern). This is on a 1999 9-5 SE with 2.3t and automatic trans.
The release button is small and recessed while being next to the shift lever when in "P". Perhaps this is a futile mission or I'd be smarter not to disable as it's saving me from doing something stupid. Perhaps I just glue something to the button to make it more accessible? W/o some length on one's fingernail its a pain to depress.
