Starting sequence
Just bought 2011 9-3. Can’t work out exactly sequence for ignition. Manual states depress with feet both clutch and break whilst turning key but not work. Does start eventually more frequently when just clutch down. Confused. What is correct procedure? Perhaps battery needs replacing as yet to start with first attempt. Thanks in advance for advice.

My 2011 9-3 only requires me to keep the clutch _fully_ pressed. Never experienced any issues.

The clutch pedal has to be depressed completely, as far down as it will go, before you try starting the car.
