0730 Gear Code on and then off???

My 01 9 5 spent the winter in the garage. Last week I took it out and like always ran fine. A couple of days later the gear light came on amd my Tech II poped up with the 0730 code. I called Tony in Appelton and said to bring it in tomorrow.
This morning I stated the car, no light. Drove it around and still no code or light.
It had been raining before the light went on so I am just wondering if there just might have been a false signal due to moisture. The car drove normally and did not go into limp at any time.
Any thought before I cancel the appointment and a 100 mile drive to Tony.

Sounds like a gremlin so just ignore unless it happens again.

All my warning lights occasionally came on on my 2005 9-5 but all was fine after restarting the car. I think it had something to do with the ABS controller but wasn't really a problem.

Transmission is shot. Found one with 66000 miles in New Jersey. 4th gear band is gone. Scoped and tested by a transmission expert in Escanaba. He confirmed valve body is good and pressure is fine.
