How did it turn out? Is the GLSC still going strong?

In round numbers we had 40 SAABs and 60 SAAB enthusiasts. My wife counted 66 people versus my count of 58, and assuming 2 people per vehicle in most cases both our numbers may have missed some attendees. Besides the GLSC there are two clubs in Michigan of a more local flavor which each schedule regular events closer to their home bases: the Greater Detroit Saab Club and the West Michigan Saab Club. Multiple representatives of both of these clubs were in attendance.
Everyone had a great time. The weather was perfect, the Park venue was a success.
We had two model 96 SAABs in attendance, one SPG, three 9-3 XWD's (one sedan and two SC's - one with manual), one Sonett set up for SCCA Club racing - many years ago. LOTS of convertibles with yesterday's excellent weather.
