Spring Sacers. Neeed Help.
My 2001 wagon is riding 25mm low. I am going to replace the rose bushes and the big trailing arm bushings. I want to add spacers to the springs. My question is tied to the shocks.
Last summer I installed some Monroe shocks. I only use the car in the summer and probably only put about 3000 miles a year on it.
In shopping for spacers it seems they are brand specific. Like Bilstein etc. My question is: Are spacers brand specific or will any spacer work?

Not brand specific, people have been using "spacers" to restore or raise the ride height on both leaf and coil springs for as long as I can remember and there are a couple of different styles that work better for different applications. Before going this route better check to make sure the springs aren't broken, both rear springs on my 9-3 Sportcombi broke shortly after replacing the rear shocks and you don't put spacers on broken springs.

Before you add spacers I would check that the correct springs are fitted, lowering Saabs is quite common.

Does anyone happen to have part numbers and or direct links for the bushings? I have a 1999 9-5 wagon (base model) with a 4cyl 2.3l engine. Every time I go to or call the local parts shops, they tell me the same thing... "Cant get it" or "special order/2weeks wait time (cost is 1 arm, 1 leg, and shipping fees). But if I give them the actual part number, I get "oh, we have them right here in stock".

Got all I needed from FCP Euro. Pretty great place to buy and fair shipping.

I haven't a clue but EPC has it all, please download EPC and WIS from here http://saabworld.net/showthread.php?t=33310 and you should have all you need.
