Can a pre 06 dipstick retrofit into a Dame Edna
Pulled the dipstick from my 01 when I replaced the transmission.
I know there is a bolt on the housing where the dip stick was replaced by nothing. Anybody convert it?

My 2006 has a auto trans dipstick from the factory so it can be done.

I think they may have changed the AT from dipstick to no dipstick some time during the 06 model year.

It appears the bolt can be a pain to remove.The dipstick cannot be retro-fitted due to a change in the transmission case.
