Car only cold starts when I open the throttle while cranking.

I have a 2005 Saab 9-5 and as the title states, I was having cold start problems the last few cold mornings. It would take 3-4 attempts to crank before turning over, it would run fine the rest of the day. However, a few days ago after 2 seconds of cranking I touched the gas pedal and it fired to life immediately. I repeated this the next couple morning and when i barely touch the gas pedal it starts right up, if I don't touch the gas it just cranks and takes more attempts to start. Wondering why this could be happening.

It could be the throttle body actuator or throttle pedal sensor...is it pulling any codes?

You might try cleaning the inside of the throttle valve, they can get coked up an that blocks all airflow.
