    Rough rich idle

Hi all. 91 900s with 2.1. Replaced fuel pump with new. Battery went dead over night. Replace battery. Car starts but runs rich at idle. Once driving ok but see shift up lite blinking. Changed spark plugs. Car has 230000 miles was running fine til fuel pump stopped.

Found orange wire near fuel pump relay that was disconnected. Caused battery to run down and car run rich from idle. Now runs great again. Any one know what a single orange wire with a white round connector above pump relay area do?
