After market cat back exhaust
Hello to everyone.....
I will try and keep this short. 2006 9-3 2.0T manual trans. I replaced the factory exhaust with a cat back replacement, now the check engine light is on. Was told to have car tuned for the new exhaust or live with it. The other option was to reinstall the factory system to clear the CEL. Any help with clearing the CEL would be great. (The code shows leak in emission)
Thanks

I used to have a 2005 9-3 2.0t but did not change the exhaust. If the CEL code states a leak then either it's a leak or maybe down flow pressure is reduced (which is what you probably wanted) but triggered a CEL. Might have to figure out which one it is.

I never had a CEL until I replaced the exhaust system.. so I will have to go with down flow pressure reduced...
