2004 9-5 Arc LH Rear Suspension

I need to find a Rear Suspension part called a "LH Longitudinal Link" or it's the graveyard. This makes me sad.

The Saab part number is 4689964 and it appears unavailable on several Saab part sites. As this is a part that doesn't seem to fail very often, try local junkyards or search for it on http://car-part.com/. Goldwing Saab is also a good source for used Saab parts: https://www.goldwingsaabparts.com/

    Save that Saab 9-5...!

Why would you need that part. Did it break, never heard of that.
you really need to know your stuff to get an old one out. It’s pretty complicated under there.
I bought all new bushings for my Combi 01 last summer. Put the car on the lift, took a look at what I had to do......
Put the car down and sent all the parts back.
I will put some spacers on the springs next summer and forget about it.

It was a car accident. A glancing blow to the driver's side rear wheel. The Longitudinal Link broke in half. If I can find that part I think I can fix it.
    Thanks for writing.

I see that you already got the link to car-part.com and you have probably looked and not found your part. Car-part is my first go to when searching and most low demand parts aren't listed. The looking for the part form is about as reliable as the "wire" was before the internet and salvage yards reply when they aren't busy making money. Plenty of those parts down here sitting in yards and yards all around the country that specialize in foreign and exotic cars.

Best way to find that part fast is to search for left rear quarter panel and call the yards that have them pictured on the car. Plenty of those still on the cars and plenty of cars sitting in yards down here in the lower 48, but start by calling the yards closest to you and ask for the part.

Glad to hear you found your part and even if it doesn't look bad get a new hub bearing assembly. Little whacks like this go through the hub on their way to the link and hubs that still spin true usually fail within the first few hundred highway miles.
