I am unsure what level audio I have, but I think for 2007 Aero's it was something somewhat decent. I do have the factory tiny subwoofer in the trunk. And it sounds terrible. Crutchfield isnt much help in this area for the sub, and they dont even show head unit options. I've seen on here that there are a few that have changed the head unit with success. I just want some clean audio for once.
As for cabin speakers what do you all use/have used? Who has replaced the sub?

I replace the sub in my wagon. Had to modify the housing slightly to open the hole for the sub. Relatively easy to install. Just have to keep in mind that the system is very specific. Most car audio systems are built around a 4 Ohm system but with the factory amps and such, most of the speakers run on a 2 Ohm system. I could be wrong but I think if you hook up 4 Ohm speakers, you will actually lose about half of the sound and volume.
There is a huge posting about the speakers and everything but it appears that finding the right speakers is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Here's the link:

The section showing specs on the speakers is about 1/4 of the way down on the second page.
