P1181
Hello to All
The other day my check engine light came on, put on the scanner and
got a P1181 code. did some checking and got a lot of things that it could be.
After 2.5 days of short trips it went out, this morning it was back on.
Question since I do not have a lot of test equipment for troubleshooting
does anyone know what the most common thing it could be, that maybe I
can fix myself.
Thanks

Code means; "Long term fuel trim additive. Max Value, Air/Fuel too Lean."
Sounds like a VACUUM LEAK or related. MAF or O2 could also be "going" bad.

Vacuum leaks are common on 9-5s, replacing all the hoses with silicone is cheap, quick and permanent.
