Chimes-No indicators
I have noticed that while sitting in my 07 9-5, engine running in park, I will hear chimes like a fault indication, but I get no message on the SID and no lights (i.e. CEL) on the dash. There seems to be no effect on performance or gas mileage. Could this be an indication of the entire system failing? Any ideas? What to check? I don't have a Tech2 so can't use that.

Sounds like an intermittent fault that clears before the warning has time to display. Unfortunately you’ll have to wait until something shows or get a fault code reader.

Car doesn't start and the turn signal indicators in gauge cluster don't work.
