Looks like another Aero into the Family

    Hey all,

Looks like we may expand the Aero total in the family, going to look at a 2002 9-5 Aero estate at the weekend, if everything is kosher and looks ok, then we’ll be coming back with it.

Been told of a couple of issues with it, hopefully a lot less than the present Aero. Drivers window, probably runners, if not the mechanism is bent, just like her in doors’ Aero. Warning light on the dash for the tailgate, could be micro switch In the lock, or wiring going on the crease, ABS rings cracked - due to be replaced today.

Everything sounds ok, 18yr old 5 previous owners, 117k.

Sounds like it is in good shape with just a few small issues. Good luck!

Mechanically, not bad couple of oil leaks, ABS rings still not done after 3 days, interior needed a clean, ran smoothly, a lot more than our lasses, Xenon warning light on dash, boot trying to lock itself when setting off then stopping, but it was mainly the fact that, these ABS were promised to be done Thurs/Fri and still, this lunchtime not done. So no other choice but to walk away. I’m sure it’ll be a great car for someone, just not us yet.
