Oh, I miscounted. 10 days and counting
(Explanation: at 9 years, 364 days, it should be 1 day left so 10 days left should be 9 years 354 days)

The site went live on 29 July 2010 as you can tell by my Join Date. Hard to believe that was 10 years ago..!

8 days and counting!
(9 days to 29 July 2010 but 8 days by the counter at the bottom of the home page)

8 days and counting!
(I figured out why the counter was different. It was because it counts the prior day as day 0. For example, if Saabworld were started on January 1 at 1 second after midnight, the counter would consider December 31 as day 365 and January 1 as day 366, even though day 366 would start at January 1 at 2 seconds after midnight. Since we, as humans, only consider the date and not the time of day, it is 8 days and counting.)

A retrospective of some Saabs that I've owned. This is similar to my first Saab.
The color is the same, Admiral Blue, a type of navy blue.
The headlights looked like this picture.
What is different was that my car was a 900 (US name, 900GLi in some countries). The trim around the window was chrome, not black. The wheels were steel wheels painted silver and a small hubcap. The grill had 3 diagonal slits on each side.
Grill and original headlights but i later changed the headlights to those using H4 bulbs and made for left hand drive European spec cars
My car had this style of wheels.
My interior looked like this, including the steering wheel design and blue interior. Note this car has the seats found in a 900S. The 900 had seats with smaller ribbing. This picture also is a car that lacks front fog lights. My fog light switch was below the round headlight switch.
Tomorrow or later: A retrospective of my next Saab, number 2 of 5
UPDATE: I saw this car in a parking lot. Very much like mine, color, wheels, grill, except mine did not have a hood emblem and the side fender bumper trim is slightly different because this picture is of a model one year later.
This photo has the side fender bumper trim that my car had.

A preview of Saab number 2 in my retrospective of Saabs owned. This is in preparation for the 10th anniversary of Saabworld (saabworld.net)!
My second Saab was a 1989 900. It had heavy steel wheel covers just like this. However, my car was Metallic Silver and had chrome window trim as well as a "SAAB" name on the side of the hood just above the fender turn signal. US spec cars, like mine, also had a plain black body side molding at waist height.
My interior was just like this. It was a velour light gray, 5 speed transmission, center console. One difference is that my car had windows with a manual crank, not power windows.
This photo shows a car of the same color, same chrome window trim, and side "SAAB" lettering on the hood like my Saab number 2. Differences with my car include different wheels and I didn't have a rear spoiler.
