Near 140k Miscellany
My 05' manual sportcombi is coming up on 140k. I'll be taking to a new mechanic since my old one's apparently shuttered. Looking for top tips on the following:
140k seems like a possible majore mileage point. A bunch of things were done at 125k; I'm trying to find what's recommended at 140k other than the usual maintenance.
I have had a couple of weird things recently that haven't been reproduced. One, while stopped at a light, all the dash indicators lit up, but nothing on the SID; they disappeared after a restart in a parking lot. Two, backing out of the driveway, shifting was rough. I checked the MTF level (good) and later started took it for a spin around the cul-de-sac, shifting was fine.
