    2010-2012 Saab 9-5 driver window

Hi has anyone experienced and know how to fix a driver door window auto wind. Up is fine but when you push the window button fully for down it does not work. Can only wind it by holding the button down. Is there a re set or do I have to disconnect the battery. Tried to remove fuse 24 but it did not work.

Do you have comfort opening, hold the unlock button to the key fob for four seconds and all four windows open? If that works it may be just the switch as it clearly works when you hold the switch to the first detent. Does it close properly, pull fully up and let go and the window closes automatically?

The only reset I know is by disconnecting the battery. It is worth mentioning that the handbook does not adequately cover the fuses and the circuits associated with them.

Hi GeoffR thanks for your reply. Yes locking snd unlocking and holding down the key fob buttons works fine. Will try and disconnect the battery and then do the reset and see if it works. If not then will have to go to the next steps. Thanks again
