Hi, All!
We have had our 2002 9-3 SE since new. Now passing it on to our 16 year old, who wants to change out the head unit (radio).
We're looking for help understanding the wiring system. We have a Chilton's manual but figuring out the wiring harness is turning out to be a bear.
I've searched this site and cannot find what I'm looking for - but I'm a noob here.
Do you know of an audio manual, wiring diagram (preferably with colors!), and/or a tutorial for the audio system? We're a little desperate at this point!
Thanks for any help-
Ivy

Years ago, Crutchfield had many kits for many cars. They are still in business.

Thank you. We'll look again at Crutchfield and see if we missed something. They appeared to think we had a different head unit and directed us to the single-DIN radios, so that makes us worry!

Probably because good employees are hard to find. Many years ago, Crutchfield was mainly selling replacement upgraded car radios. Now it's hard to replace the radio in cars so I think that expertise has been lost and employees mainly sell audio equipment not for cars.

That’s surprising about Crutchfield. I’ve always spoken with very knowledgeable people there, directing me on many issues. They are my go-to for car audio needs. And besides, where else would you try?
