P1901 Exhaust pressure sensor front hose blocked or loose
Saab 9-5 sport Vector 2006 1.9tid.
Hi,
I have this faultcode that just wont go away. P1901-F. It says; Exhaust pressure sensor front hose blocked or loose. But what exactly is "front hose"? I am guessing it is the ONE hose that goes from the dpf to the dpf presseure sensor in the enginebay that sits on the firewall. But is this correct?
I had a minor leakage from turbo-exhaust coupling but that was due to a damaged gasket. Got that fixed today and thought that was the "loose" hose that made the pressure sensor spit out a fault code, but apparently not. Please help. Both dpf and sensor was changed about 5 months ago

The question is: what is the 'front hose' in the referenced fault code.

Found this on another site... Something about 5 subcategories relating to that "p1901" code...
"p1901......
02 dpf pressure sensor short to ground
05 dpf pressure sensor open/short circuit to B+
58 dpf blocked or front hose loose
75 dpf blocked
0F dpf plausibility for with manifold absolute pressure (map sensor)"
Perhaps the "F" in what you had posted relates to that map sensor.
I dont know for sure but maybe that helps you?

Dont know, the fault code reader specified the exhaust pressure sensor, but i cannot see or feel any leaks, and the hose that runs from the dpf to dpf P. Sensor i not blocked or loose so i dont believe it's that. I can't seem to find any info on this
