    Shocks/strust

1999 9-5 wagon in rough shape... Not a restoration project... Just trying to keep it running a while longer.
Just had it in the shop for inspection/diagnostics. They recommend shocks and struts. I can't afford high quality stuff as it's just a daily driver for my teenager. I was looking at eeuroparts for what's available and will fit my budget. There was a full set for front and rear for under $400. Brand on it was listed as "aftermarket".
Has anyone tried those and are they worth it? It's 22 years old with 130k+ miles on the original equip and I'm just hoping to get a couple more years out of it.

    Any thoughts?

I bought bilstein b4’s for the rear from rockauto at $67 a piece I think. It was cheap. The front I got Sachs which is oem from FCPEURO for about the same price for front struts.

Was thinking springs too since it rides lower than it should. It appears that the springs have fatigued and I'm hoping to get it back to proper ride height.

The overall pricing difference is withing about $20 when I check options. The way you posted, is cheaper by 20 but doesn't include coil springs. Rockauto for the Bilstein b4 and their "original ride quality" strut/spring assembly is comparable to the whole kit from eeuroparts.

If you need springs then maybe that’s the way you need to go.
I can’t be positive but if that’s the set I think of someone here has used it and wasn’t happy with it. Hopefully someone here can chime in.

Your springs will have settled, you need to fit spacers under the shocks and it will almost invariably correct the ride height and also the camber issues. Contact Richard Lague (he should come up with a search) his company produces spacers and he has clear instructions on how to measure the ride height etc. I got a set in early 2020 and it completely fixed my problems. I had some Bridgestone Potenza tyres with about 60% of the tread on the outside and down to the steel on the inside!!~

Richard Lague apparently passed away and his business IG3Tech no longer exists.
