My 08 V6 Aero has been plagued by a check engine light regarding SAI for years now and I am pulling my hair out. The SAI system operates (you can hear it) when the car is started but the light always comes on. I have replaced the pump, the top valve, and the sensor. The only thing I haven't replaced is the plastic down-pipe to the pump.

It is theoretically possible that the plastic downpipe isn't sealing well enough on top of the pump but it's a HUGE pain to get my hands in there. That connection is in place but might be a little loose. Is there anything else I need to check? The Saab dealer thought maybe the power wire to the pump was cracked but it's obviously still getting power since I can hear the pump. Is the Tech II telling me something about the potential cause?
