Any electrical gurus out there?
The radio on my 01 Aero used to go on and off with the ignition key, then it was a bit hit and miss and now it has to be switched on and off manually with the knob on the radio, everything on the radio works but I have no radio info on the SID and the wheel buttons don’t work.
I think there is a wakeup signal from the ignition switch to the radio, possibly a blue wire which goes live when I put the key in, but after that I am lost.
Does the wakeup/switch off signal go direct to the radio or via the Dice network, the other SID displays work ok, any info on tracing the system or how it works would be much appreciated.
