Hi

I have a 2010 Saab 9-5 2.0 TID. Had a Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTI engine transplanted after a cambelt failure. All good apart from the wiring loom not the same. Extra wire to plug in to the sump. When I got the car back it was running all fine apart from glow plug number 3 showing up as being faulty and "Service Vehicle Soon" coming up on the central display. Saab repairer replaced the glow plug with the correct one (pressure sensor one), Diesel Fuel Filter and starter motor (old one was noisy). Started it up yesterday and it ran fine. After they turned the engine off they can now not get it restarted. Fuel coming through and Filter was primed for air leaks.

Last few months the "Service Steering Lock" message has been coming on every now and again. But the car never had any issues in starting up and running fine.

The repairing garage is at a loss as to what is causing the car not to start. It does crank over.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Will
