Fixed Mast antenna replacement and possible conversion to power
I came out today to discover that someone had broken off the fixed antenna on my 2006 9-3 convertible, and very kindly left it on the car next to the hole it exposed (the cowl came off with the antenna).
I have searched for the procedure to replace it, but haven't found much. Does anyone know of a step-by-step tutorial, either document or video, to help me do this ?
I am also wondering, in light of this experience, whether it is possible to replace it with a power antenna. I know that some of the wiring exists in Saabs even if the option itself is not installed. Is this one of those cases ?
