SaabWorld or SAABworld
Playing around with the header until we can get a more customized look for SaabWorld. I must say the default style works very well and is a clean look.
But... should it be SaabWorld or SAABworld? Probably a small detail but I look at those kind of things.
I believe SAAB is more like the proper name for the company but Saab is common for the actual cars.
If anyone wants to improve on the header, size should be 45 x 350, PNG format with transparent background. 45 is the max height but width is somewhat flexible.Last edited by nordwulf; 02 August 2010 at 04:10.

I always found it weird when people spell it SAAB. I get that it's an acronym, but not even Saab spells it that way anymore.

From SaabHistory/Wiki:
While Saab is in fact an acronym, and, as with many other manufacturers, the word “SAAB” appears in all-capitals within the corporate emblem and in on-vehicle badging, the current correct capitalization of Saab when in print is “Saab,” and not “SAAB.” Other manufacturers such as Volvo, Toyota, Lexus, Acura, and Chevrolet employ the use of all-capitalized vehicle badging, but they are still considered proper names and capitalized as such when written. Likewise, Saab is treated as a proper name and not an acronym, despite its origins..
Saab seems the correct way.

SAAB World
I believe the true name of the comany today is Saab Automobile AB · Trollhättan Sweden
Consequently SAAB is the real acronym .... and I strongly regret that VM hasn't used it since the renaissance.

There has been the "SAABworld" name in the header for a while now. I am not sure if it is correct but I see SAAB as the company and Saab for the cars. And because the company includes all the car it makes, SAABworld it is. So my Saab 9-5 was made by SAAB.
These enthusiast sites are not allowed to show any of the official company logos so they can't be confused with official company websites. Even though this header doesn't show any company logo's, the capitalized name makes it easier to identify with the company.
