The Targa Tasmania is in April but I didn't see any entry details for this Saab 900 Enduro yet. Hopefully it's still going to make it.

Not completely sure whether it was being prepared as a race vehicle or support. Maybe they came across issues or something. I'll endeavour to find out...

Hi Mike
Well, I sold my Marble White one because I didn't think that I'd ever have adequate time and resources to do its rebuild justice in the short term - so I made sure that that it went to someone who most definitely did.
That was on a Thursday.
The following Saturday (I kid you not) the original owner of my Aquamarine Blue one contacted me out of the blue after 8 years and offered me that car. It's in generally better condition than the Marble White, so I figured that I couldn't let it go because I'd never, ever, see another - so the deal was done and my interest was completely re-kindled once more. The Aquamarine one is now on the road and doing great. I had a realy top day in it the other day with the Saab Club here in Sydney, and found out what the extra 9 inches of rear and 4 of front track does to the cornering through the twisties. Wow... the day is described here:

Cool, you are probably the only person to have owned two!

Almost... the bloke I bought mine from (8 years apart) owned both of them first... Lucky thing - he'd had them from new! I can't begin to imagine the buzz it would have caused when he and his wife turned up in them at events.

Just in case an Enduro owner needs some spare parts: http://saabworld.net/f149/australia-...poilers-30872/
Or put these on a regular Saab 900? I am curious about what happened to this particular Enduro in the ad.

The www.saab900enduro.com website seems to be gone. Too bad, I think there was quite some useful and interesting information on there.
Are these Enduros still going strong?
