    Thanks folks, worked a dream.

    One more question. I overfilled just a tat above the top line of the stick. is that a problem? And how would one remove it if needed?

    You can loosen the drain plug just a bit and let some fluid drain out. But if it is just a tat, it probably doesn't matter.

    My fear, like what?

    Could I suck it out over the dipstick hole? Any experience doing that?
