LA + SD = SAAAAAAAB and our upcoming meet 10/9/2010

I know there are separate mailing lists and activities for San Diego and Los Angeles, but I think it will be nice if we keep up with what each other is doing since we're so close.

The LA Club right now communicates primarily through a GoogleGroup to send out repeated e-mail messages rather than trying to forward things along to each other so no one gets dropped off. The Group is called 'Los Angeles SAAB Club' if you search for it, it's public to joint and you will get copies of new messages as well as be able to peruse old messages that were sent out before you joined so you can see past events that we threw together.

Our next get together will be paired with the Volvo Sports Club of Southern California, for an event they are calling, 'Swedes to Solvang'. Solvang is up in the southern end of the Santa Ynez wine country.

Drive up the morning of Sat. the 9th, meet in Calabasas for donut breakfast.

Then scenic drive up to Solvang, a prominently Danish village (we won't judge our fellow Scandinavian brethren, will we??). There are arrangements for doing touristy things, along with wine tasting, group dinner at Pea Soup Anderson's restoraunt.

Optional stay-overnight at the hotel, then morning breakfast activities and head back to the southland.
