My brother just got a GoPro HDHero camera. He got it with the Motorsport mount, so he tested it out on his extremely boring drive to class. While the video is boring, it's pretty amazing how stable the little thing is with just a suction-cup mount and whatever little gizmos it has inside. We can't wait to use the chest mount for use when skiing in Utah.

That is very cool. I'll put in on my list of things I don't need but really want. Does it stick out far from the side?

Then all those little arms can bend. If I had to guess from the short time I actually saw it, I'd say about 6 inches, at most. It also came with things so you can mount it to your helmet, and you can get things like a surfboard mount, a bike mount, and all sorts of thing. It really is quite an impressive little gadget. I'll post up some videos from Utah when I go, and hopefully some of my car (which I will be utterly boring).

How many "points" to lose your license in Spain, and how many typically come with a speeding ticket? Here in New York it's 3 points for 0-10mph above the limit, 4 points for 11-20mph over, 5 points for 21-30 above, 6 points for 31-40mph over, and 11 points for anything 40mph and over. You get points for reckless driving, passing a school bus when the "STOP" signs are out, and other things. But basically, if you get three violations in 18 months, you get your license suspended, or if you get 11 points within 3 years, you get it suspended.

it is not my intention to blame the gopro hd camera...... the quality of the video is very good and also the ride of the see-sights road.

I like the pictures and videos on the road but my wife is not always for the labor. I am afraid to place the camera in the car because the police has something to tell me.

but only to mention that, the side mount in the out of car is not allowed, it can be dropped to the road ... it should be better to place the camera inside the car (headrest for i.e.).
see different locations for the camera set in a car.
