I attended an event near my home when they presented the new 9 5, and I am with you. The car looks absolutely gorgeous, buuuuut......I have to say I am really leaning more towards the 9 4x!. I have never considered an SUV or Xover, or whatever the name, but the new SAAB is getting me, definitely. I am looking forward to the presentation here to see it in the flesh.

I wonder what will power the 9-4X since GM said that they are no longer going to offer the turbo for the Caddy sibling.

I've had SUV's before, they are kind of necessary when you have 2 Siberian huskies, but I never really liked them as cars. But, like you, the 9-4 is very appealing to me. I even brought home literature on it. Prices aren't bad either, they start at $34K

In April my 9-3 goes in to get some warranty work done and a full exterior detail, so I get a newish 9-5 as a loaner!

Too bad they only allow 50 miles a day.

I got the dealer booklets on the 9-4x and 9-5. I let my dad have a look through them and he's torn on which one he wants to finally relieve the old 'Burb as my moms daily driver. Both offer nice equipment for the price range and AWD for winter driving. I guess the final decision will go to my mom when it come time in a couple years. A 14 MPG 5.7 V8 is starting to hurt a little with gas prices. Its about $10-$15 per day to drive the Suburban.
    I don't drive fast...I fly slow

I grew up in a third world countRy, so we called that a "family trip" When we were little we had an FJ40, then bought a Bronco and both of them saw plenty of dirt.

    That is Pennsyltucky.

Enjoy your Saabs now because in 5 short years we will be Third World.

We have slid from like 2 to 10 in that last year.

No jobs and people packing in, is "bad joss".
