That is what I was thinking too.. If the car has nay dirt on it, that could cause scratching when it is applied.
I likely will not have access to a helper. Having to put a cover on every night would be a major inconvenience, but may be worth it.
More notably though, I can't find a cover anywhere that claims to fit the 2010+ 9-5

I suggested that, but the wife disapproved and rolled her eyes.[/FONT]

I like the bucket idea.
Any plumbing skills? When they have the water turned off, you could remove the spinkler head and cap it off.

Or, instead of a bucket (blocking the whole sprinkler), you could just stick a little wall that is just big enough to block it from spraying on your car (made from a flat hard piece of plastic maybe?) in the ground.

They were under the "Car Covers" tab on the front tab. Took me a minute to find it though.
Yeah...if it helps I bought one at Walmart for my Mustang. It's pretty crappy, but it was $19 and it keeps the dust off while it's in the garage. So maybe a better from there would hold up better outside.
But whatever you do, I'd wait a few more months before putting a cover on it. Not sure when your car was made, but I've always hear to keep covers off of a car that has been painted in the last 6-9 months.I don't drive fast...I fly slow
