I had a 1989 Lincoln Town Car similar to the photo but dark blue! It wasn't too good a car. I got it because I needed an emergency replacement for my 900. I saw an ad in the paper and bought it the next day. The elderly man met me at a nearby gas station, I had the car checked by them, then bought it on the spot, having signatures notarized at his bank across the street from the gas station. I sold it 6 months later.
The car was originally leased by a local lawyer and maintained well, according to the envelope of receipts that I got with the car. The next owner neglected it but didn't drive it much. That's why I was cautious about a low mileage classic 900 on ebay. It, too, seemed to be well taken care of by the first owner but the second owner didn't drive it much and possibly neglected it.
A car that I would like to have would be one that I bought new and kept for over 30 years. There's no such car around that one could buy now and keep until 2043 or later. The general configuration of the car could be a classic 900 or Volvo C30 (or a tad bigger, if possible).

Jeff,
Your chance to own a new Vehicross has come again! They just call it a Jeep Cherokee now... but it's based on a car this time around, and probably won't be any good off road.

Yeah - No - that "Jeep" is the most hideous thing that has even been built under the nameplate of JEEP - ever. No thanks. Isn't it just a re-badged FIAT?

It was supposed to be an Alfa Romeo CUV... guess they decided it was Jeep worthy. What a disappointment.
