That "No one understands" car you've always wanted

Most of my friends don't understand my obsession with Saabs... or any of the cars that I like for that matter. Here are some of the cars that I'd love to have, that most people just don't get.

What cars do you like, yet most people just "wouldn't get it"?

I owned a couple of earlier 240SX and a Datsun 180SX and always wanted the later S14. The 300ZX was the popular and fast Nissan but I always had a thing for the 155hp little brother. And was upset like everyone else the 200hp turbo 200SX wasn't available in the US.



I don't particularly car for French cars but always wanted the little 205 for some reason. I am still not sure why but they were nice to drive.

I could go for a 205 Cabrio. They seem a lot like the VW Golf without being a "me too!" car.

But I want one of these

So badly. I have no idea why, but they have captured my imagination for as long as I can remember.

I have a soft spot for commie cars. I'd take one of each: Skoda, Lada 2101 and Niva, Trabi, Muskovitch, Tatra 603, and Yugo.

One of these Dutch cars.. I would love driving around in it and everybody will probably laugh at me. But I wouldn't care.

Ganz schön! Schöner als mein Trabi...
Ich weiß, dass es ein großer Mercedes ist--es kann sehr schnell fahren und es ist sehr luxuriös. Aber ich mag am meistens die Scheibenwischers, die von Mitte nach die Seiten gehen!
Nach meiner Meinung, dieses Auto braucht ein Hufeisen am Kühlergrill für die total deutsche Art haben.

Der Scheibenwischer von meinem 300TE war ganz ein Kunstwerk! Ich vermisse dieses Auto..

I like boxy wagons. I wish I didn't have to sell my 300TE when I bought my current 9-5. What a great car.
