thanks for posting,
yes, it is a Saab Campaign/Recall. my modification are the no crossed hoses against the recall .
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
When I went to the dealer was very busy and I have the leave the car at the dealer for one day.
- I had the parts and I did at home when the coolant was cold. it takes 15 minutes to change the coolant tank and go back home by bus nearly two hours. that is the reason.
the goal of this post is to show pictures of your engine bay, with or without Mods.

As a Saab Tech - former Dealer Tech I do not understand why you have reversed the campaing as it did correct the problem. Having it flow the direction you have it going will cause the hot coolant to melt the poorly made expansion tank and cause it to leak at the seams. This was the reason Saab had us reverse the hoses.

why to invert the hoses?.
-the stabilization of the temperatures in all the tank in the center pipe and right pipe is a question of m-seconds.
-the coolant boiling point is about 130ºC/266ºF more or less and PA6/PPS can be working over 200ºC/392ºF at functional temperatures.
there is no reason of melted material in the tank. it has no sense.
and the main reason is:
- to keep the original functionality of the tank as it was designed for the coolant turbo recirculation in the right pipe and the drop coolant from the engine in the center pipe to keep the flow specifications in the pipes functionality in the tank design.

I wanted to edit my post above - but it seems I can not. There is no edit button to select - is this a forum fault?
