SaabsUnited ad competition - donation?
When SaabWorld gets really big, the idea is to get some member donations to use for the site and good causes/charities. There is no need for site support yet but perhaps we can raise some money for the price pool for the ad competition on SU?
Doesn't have to be much but it may get our community out there.
I'll start with $10. Don't feel obligated to donate anything at all. I thought this would be a nice experiment for us as a Saab community. If there is any interest, I can PM my Paypal address for anyone interested to donate to the SU ad competition.

Ever thought about setting up a Paypal account on behalf of the site? It could always be posted on the site and whenever people felt like donating a couple bucks here and there, there it would be.

Can you set up a Paypal account for something like this without a bank account? I'll need to look into that.

Looks like you can accept donations, or do things as "Sales" and such. It says you can link it to a bank account, or just use PayPal as your account (from their, use it to spend on other things that accept PayPal, or transfer it to a bank account, or you can apply for a PayPal debit card so you can take cash out at an ATM, with no need for a bank account). This service has no monthly charges, but does charge 2.9% of every transaction, 2.5% additional for every currency exchange, and 1% additional for foreign country... so, err, ummm, basically additional 3.5% for out of USA ones.Free SaabWorld Stickers
