I searched as well but can't find that specific thread anymore. Must have been deleted because I looked through his posts from the last 5 months. I guess DavidMorgan pretty much left the Saab forums as well.

He left for other forums, he actually listed them all....I thought it was ****ty of Paul to react the way he did essentially saying this is free and we do what we can and you are ungrateful (my interpretation of the events) when Dave was simply putting into words what many of us thought about what was happening with the site......Such a shame, Dave was a great contributor....

He never really explained why he doesn't like SW. I actually asked him to be a moderator for the regional Europe forum because I think that would be perfect for him and the site. He never responded.

Ah well, you just can't please everybody. Too bad we can't get all the regulars together for a weekend and actually meet everyone. Many of these misunderstandings are just based on silly and unimportant stuff.

I don't think that he would be interested in moderating. I believe that he was also asked by SC (while things were friendly) to be a moderator and he never accepted.
