    Map upgrade for 2003 - 2006 built-in navigation

    1. You can buy it from the dealer, and get a map from 2006 for around 4-500 euro.
    2. You can buy an upgrade for the system used in several Mazda models, because it is the same code in the dvd. More precisely, the code is called SDAL and was used in RX-8 MY 2004. You can try at a Mazda dealer, or you can order from Navteq directly. That is what I did.
The Navteq part number for Western Europe 2008/2009 map is T1000-14069

Note: This is for Europe, but I guess same methodology applies for the US.

(Watch out for promotions, I got mine as a Xmas promotion.)

And it is a straight swap, plus the disc has also Saab-dealers!

A borrowed Mazda SDAL DVD doesn't seem to work on my 2005 9-3...
It works on others. Any ideas why ?
