    Poor/Low Heat

I am getting very poor/low heat from my 1999, 9-5 2.3L. I believe the thermostat was replaced about 3-4 years ago by the first owner. Any other places or TUTORIALS you can recommend? The blower is blowing plenty of air.

now in winter time it takes time to get the coolant hot to open the thermostat in short distances or city ride.

Hold the auto and off buttons together and release. More thank likely it will show an error code 8 which is the blend door. It's a common issue with the 9-5s.

You need to tell us if your temp guage needle is dropping down after 15 minutes or so of driving. If it is then it's the thermostat.

I replaced the 195 degree thermostat 3 weeks ago and it SOLVED the problem! I also put new brushes in the fan motor about 5 weeks ago and that solved the intermittent fan problem. If you ever want fan motor brushes, just send me a PM and I will give you the name of the guy on the net who sells them for many European cars. You CANNOT get the fan blower motor brushes from a Saab dealer.
