But Metric is the world standard! At least, that's what it should be.

This is what I found out. The database stores the numbers in liters and kilometer. There is a Garage-wide default setting to choose between miles/kilometers and gallons/liters. I changed it to KM and Liters for now so you can see the difference on the main page. I made an entry on the wish list to have this available as a user setting so every user can set their preference.

Jose, you have your car set to use Miles and Gallons. You could have choosen KM and Liters and entered those numbers without the need to do the recalculation yourself.

    2. On vehicle page, clicking on an Insurance entry link doesn't result in any information on the next page. Link format wrong (points to fuel details?) /garage_insurance.php?do=view_user_fuel&id=22
    3. Purchase price not showing on vehicle page
    All these are fixed now.

    Garage mods - local currency?

Frank - I added a mod to one of my garaged vehicles, and the default cost displayed is in Euros, which I had no influence or choice over it doing this. Australians use AU$, so is there a way of making it correct? I notice other entries in the posters' local currencies, so am I missing a profile setting or something? Not that I can see....

    Cheers
    Chris

Chris, you can change the currency unit in your vehicle details:
    SaabWorld - Saab Garage

To the right of the Purchase Price field, there is a drop-down where you have a choice of the most often used currencies. You don't necessarily have to fill in the purchase price of the car but this currency will also display for any mods, fuel tracking and so on. This field defaults to Euros.

It's all a bit obvious now Frank - sorry about that. I didn't have a purchase price to enter, so just didn't see the pull-down right there. It does work without a price being mentioned and is picked up and used by the other modules from there. Neat Thanks!

No problem, I am still working my way through all the features.

The fuel tracking page is now showing all vehicles with fuel records in a single list. This was showing on a single page for each vehicle but this list view is much easier.

I never really cared for recording fuel usage but this makes it fun. Only 4 fill-ups for me so far so I need to drive more....!

I have updated my garage from miles/gallons to km/liters for easier inputs.
    - Right now it look more real and compressive.

    thanks for your advice.

In the fuel tracking, it doesn't show the correct Price/Gallon, it just shows how many gallons.
