Saab Cars NA Headquarters - Royal Oak, Michigan

I was in the Metro Detroit area a couple of weekends ago and decided to drive by the new North America headquarters. The building itself was pretty nice and modern on the outside but it was smaller than I expected. It was actually a bit difficult to find and is located on a dead-end street.

The area is not that nice and very industrial. It's not really a place where you expect an automobile importer like Saab. With the current economy, wasn't there anything else in a bit higher profile location? The good thing it is close to wealthy Birmingham. And an even better thing is there still is a Saab NA!
