Saab is born from the Jets. If a car is born from the manufacturers of Jets then you know it is gonna be serious! Go Saab! Saab needs to survive although it has finished because of GM. Finally, as our good man GK likes to say, be well, do good work, and stay in touch! There is no other way to phrase that murder. GM milked the SAAB-cow and let the situation rot. That is absolutely scandalous. All SAAB-ists have to write GM CEO to address their anger and to ask production to resume. GM killed SAAB. There is no other way to phrase that murder. GM milked

Comment on Quick thoughts on an ending by Anonymous http://inside.saab.com/quick-thoughts-on-an-ending/#comment-5936 Anonymous Sat, 24 Dec 2011 05:02:00 +0000 http://inside.saab.com/?p=4376#comment-5936 In Cuba people have had to drive American automobiles produced in the 1950’s and 60’s and, they still run ok.  I presently own a 1990 900 Turbo Convertible and it runs well.  I’d hate for Saab to go the way of the Studebaker and Pontiac. Maybe Saab can manufacture Re-build kits, my first 900 Turbo logged nearly 200,000 miles before my automatic transmission wore out and I had to get the steering rack replaced.  I was rear-ended, car was totaled but I walked away unharmed.  My present car is going to need a steering rack... maybe Saab can put together kits of different parts for rebuilding the car.  A lot cheaper than buying a new car and I believe that selling kit units will also be a boost to the economy.  Of course I would like to have better gas mileage.
