I hope the upcoming 9-3 will change that... but I don't have a clear idea. Sometimes I want it to look more like a happy face, which would mean a lower grille with the divider more in the middle of it and not that steep an angle in the ends. But I fear this would look like it hasn't grown up, too goofy, maybe a little too innocent. Sometimes I want it to look more like the older, taller grille. That would mean the exact opposite from what I just lined out, and that would be nearer to the current 9-5 than the Phoenix. Most times, I admire the grille of the current 9-3 when I meet it on the streets. It looks like a car that is built to be driven, somehow.
