  • Results from the Saab bankruptcy estate car auction in Sweden

The SAAB bankruptcy estate auction ended this weekend and below is the full list of the final auction bids.

The highest bid for all cars was for a 2012 Saab 9-5 2.0 TTiD4 XWD SportCombi Aero and sold for SEK 475 000 (EUR 54.292 / USD 71,470). The first Saab 9-3 Convertible Anniversary edition 001/366 had a second highest selling price of SEK 410 000 (EUR 46.895 / USD 61,690).

Victor Muller's Saab 9-5 sedan brought in SEK 350 000 and the the Saab 9-3 SportCombi in that unique Sky Blue color sold for SEK 257 000. The 9-4X seemed quite popular as well and they sold for between SEK 287 000 and 332 000.

The lowest price for a 2012 Saab 9-5 SportCombi was SEK 167 500 for a Linear in RHD. SEK 100 000 is EUR 11.437 or USD 15,046 at the current exchange rates.

The list shows 45 cars with bids that met the reserve price. The total number of cars in the auction was 68 so 23 Saabs did not get bids that were high enough.

Congrats Matthias! I got one of my own now too... I am curious what your plans are to get the car registered and licensed. Can you share?

      Regards,
      Micke

Congrats Matthias and Micke! And welcome Micke to SaabWorld.

Do you think it will be possible to get these registered and licensed in Germany and Sweden? Please share any of your experiences because it seems it may be challenging and rewarding at the same time.

So one 9-5 SC II in Sweden and one in Germany. Curious to see where the others went.

Sorry to hear it is not yours.. I should have read that linked site which explains the new owner name is not Matthias.

I thought the 9-4X was going to be one of the most unique Saabs on the road but the 9-5 II SC takes this place now.

Are there any larger pictures on that linked site available for an article on SaabWorld in English?
