Welcome to the world of Saab ! Register
  • 2012 Saab 9-5 Aero SportCombi for sale in the Netherlands

This is a car you usually don't see offered for sale and maybe will never see again. This 2012 Saab 9-5 SportCombi has a very reasonable price of € 41.321 without taxes. If you want to buy this car for export to Germany, 21% sales tax will have to be added for a total of € 50.000. Residents of the Netherlands must pay an extra €20K for a total of € 70.000

This SportCombi was built in February of 2012 and current has 31.501 kilometers on the odometer. Venza Exclusive Cars has many vehicles for sale and many are imports you don't see on European roads every day.

The pictures do not show a license plate so it is not sure if it can be registered and driven in Europe. There have been some reports from a Saab dealer in Kiel, Germany where it has been possible to register the 2012 SportCombi in Germany. And if it can be registered in one European country, it shouldn't be too difficult to transfer that registration to other countries.

If I only had money growing on my tree out back.... That would be an awesome car to own and be able to actually drive.

I would find it odd if you cannot register this car in Germany. Pretty much anything with an engine, brake and headlights can be registered here. I have met a German guy who managed to register a diesel-powered motorcycle; he went through hell to get the TÜV approved, but it wasn't impossible. I have seen a go-kart with license plates rolling down the street. There is even a category of cars that pay very little taxes but are limited to 25 km/h maximum speed. Damaged cars can also get temporary registration. This Saab won't be any less safe than any of these cars.

      Hello,

in Germany 2 9-5 II SC got number plates - one of them will be at the Meeting in the Bavarian Forest in October 2013.

      Greetings!

Yes, but it will most likely be seized by customs on arrival. You need to wait 25 years or have a special show car type permit for it.

Sadly, this 9-5 SportCombi will be 100 times safer and environment-friendlier than many junk cars and trucks you see on the road here in Michigan, a state that doesn't have any vehicle safety or emission inspection.

Interesting article about the 25-year requirement and why they make it so difficult..

Nice looking 9-5, and kinda cool to see a SAAB that looks new! But my 2001 9-5 has a very similar line to the back half; and I think the '01 front end lines are more stylish, at least to my biased eyes!.......( can't afford anything else, but I have become pretty attached to my car.)
