Central lock issues
This summer the passenger side door lock was having some issues, with the lock getting stuck in locked position. To be able to open the door I pulled up the know with force, and I felt something snapped... But strangely, the lock started working again, and has been ok ever since. There has been a some kind of high pitch sound (a very bright "dzzz") coming from the lock after this incident, though. But it's working...
Just recently, the driver side rear door lock started behaving... It gets stuck in locked or open position, and must be manually operated. No need for force, though.
My guess is that the solenoids are getting tired, or maybe a proper cleaning would be helpful? I will try to pull and reconnect the door cable connectors, but not done yet.
Any other ideas?

My 900 had a rear door that wouldn't come unlocked, unless you fiddled with the door just right and long enough. And once it did, if you opened the door, it would close the latch, so you'd have to stick your finger in the greasy latch to get it to open. Turned out the whole locking mechanism (the solenoid???) was just going bad. Found a replacement at a local autowrecker for $10.

dry grease stuck the door locks system. sometimes needs to be spray oiled over the linkage rods guides mechanist and locks.
dilatation caused by humidity in another factor of failure the solenoids

From being constantly broken, the rear door lock issue has now become intermittent. And somehow I have the feeling that there is a difference in the keyfobs, during a weekend trip recently I took both keyfobs along, and the door started working again. Unfortunately I did not pay enough attention to which of the keyfobs I was using then. But from now on I will be more analytic in my approach.
Updates will follow.
