Graphics Designer Talent Wated - Looking to build myself a logo
Anyone here up for a pro-bono task of helping make my business a logo? My new business cards will look like this for now;
- -
until I get things more permanent and FULL TIME. I want to have a nice header logo on my invoices in the meantime (currently just says SAAB)
Looking to tie in something Saab related with the company name. I have always like the old Saab Aircraft logo too. Just needs to be something "me." Simple is good too.
Any and all help appreciated!European Motor Services, LLC - Point Pleasant, PA 18950 - www.europeanmotorsvc.com

Whats the time-frame on this? If you can bear with a slower turn-around, I dont mind helping out. Ive been doing a lot of freelance stuff right now and with a full time design job already, Im pretty busy. You are already on the right page though......simple is good. I can best decribe my design style as 'clean' and am very much an admirer of the Saab design style. We should have no problem making it look Saaby.
Describe what you mean by "me", as that will help me get a sense of what you are looking for.

no rush!
I am a saab nut - from V4 to 2.3T I have 1 of each style! I I can fix, repair or customize or service anthing from late 60's to 2009 w/out much a hitch. I've been doing "to your door" style service (which is super super rare for Saab techs) as my side things since I worked for a Saab dealer almost 3 years ago now.
I like the older stuff as my personal preferance - as I am an old fashion modern guy. Hell - I heat my house with COAL! And we just put in a brand new coal stove.
I will repair anything I can - I am not afraid to try. All cars work on the same principals - no reason to limit myself to 1 type. Again - I view myself as a Saab Specialist b/c those are what I know. (less c900's) I have done almost everything there is to do on a 9000 - both generations. I have done A LOT with OG9-3/ng900 and 9-5's as well - know them pretty damn well.

are there any specific elements that you would like incorporated into the logo? Would you like a symbol to go into the logo or do you prefer a type-only logo? Do you want the name to be 'J. Aaron Motorworks" or how about just "J.A. Motorworks"?

J. Aaron Motorworks is good - and it can either have a logo behind or tie together somehow. Unless you can perform miracles with just text/font - I like the combined look.
