It seems that is not the case.

Whats my next (low cost) step?

Is it Parrot? or can I have a dealer upgrade my software?

If its Parrot I'm pretty much guessing lots of you have gone that route.....so what do I need to get full use of steering wheel controls and to be able to use the music on my phone ?

Keep it simple, I have limited tech and intellectual abilities

BTW have searched various Saab sites and can not get definitive answers to what would seem to be a SIMPLE and common problem.

Do you have onStar (Is that just a North American thing?) or the navigation unit?

Either way, this seems to get pretty good reviews. It takes advantage of the existing mic in the car...

You can find it at other places as it is a relatively basic Motorola kit with a Saab adapter.

Hi, thanks for posting, the car is a UK spec car, we don't have Onstar foisted on us, and there is no Sat Nav, I'll check out those links.
