Last night I spnt some time searching this topic on the net and it seems all C900 after 1985 are prewired for fog lights. I already have the brackets and switch, which are missing on the car, just need a Bosch standard relay and need to find the wires behind the dashboard. The wires by the lights are conveniently zip tied below the radiator, they've been there since the car last saw the factory floor in Arlov.

Mine has the OE fog lights installed ... with the original covers!!! And they still say Saab if you can believe that.

I need to remove them this weekend and see if the lights themselves still work ... may be due for some upgraded bulbs all around.

Today I scored a set of New Old Stock (NOS) Bosch fog lights. These are the original Bosch lights, made in Germany with Osram bulbs, not the current overpriced set that is made elsewhere and has slightly lower quality. I won the auction for $30! A new set goes for $120 new.

This old set comes without a wiring harness, or relay, but that is the least of my worries as I have a bunch of Bosch relays, and wire is easy to come by. I also need a switch, I won't use the Bosch one. I'll be looking for a genuine SAAB fog light switch. Anyone have one available?

For mounting the light I have found this blueprint for a C900 light bracket. Anyone has other ideas for mounting? I will be putting them under the bumper on the traditional C900 spot by the license plate. Would anyone care to measure the distance between the mounting brackets on a car that came from the factory with fog lights?

Lol, I should have watermarked that!
For fog lamps, simply mount them upside down. Or on early models you can do what I did and weld them to the part that holds the rubber buffer.
