9-7x engine in a 9-5 or 9-3?
Has this ever been attempted or achieved?
I'd imagine its almost impossible to do, but I 'm curious!
If anyone has any info, please link me!Last edited by Kazamario; 27 June 2014 at 19:02. Reason: spelling

I never heard of such thing but I have heard of someone putting another engine, maybe a Ford 5.0 V-8, in a classic Saab 900.
The easier thing to do might just be to rechip the 2.0-16T. Compared to today's cars, the major thing that the 9-3SS lacks is Bluetooth, which doesn't seem too big a hurdle.Last edited by Dave T; 28 June 2014 at 14:41.

Someone installed a Viper engine in a 9-3 or 9-5 so a LS1 engine from the 9-7X Aero should be possible.
