Oil leak. Any advice?

Hello everyone,

I replaced the valve cover gasket on my 2.3l 9-5 in order to stop a small oil leak, but the oil is still leaking. After two or three days of burnt oil smell (keeps dripping on exhaust) I located the leak on the top part of the engine. Please look at the pictures below. Has anyone had a leak from the same spot, and how did you guys solve this? I was told that this is the location of a vacuum (something) for automatic transmission, but I have a manual one so it looks like there's a part missing there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The blue arrow shows the location of the leak on the engine block



The red circle shows the leak itself. I noticed that some cars have a cone-shaped part bolted on to this exact spot, but one guy told me that only exists on cars with automatic transmission. What's supposed to be there on manual transmision cars? Just this hole? I feel like my engine has a missing part


So if anyone has any idea on how to stop this leak, please let me know.

Buy it, and plug it ? No, I'm sorry - nothing that I know of. From the picture it seems like it could be an easy task .

did you ever get the part that belongs there? If not maybe clean that area with carb cleaner find something flat that is metal and fits over it and use a high temp gasket maker sealer for a temp fix.
